  • Monster Hunter: World’s PC port uses your Steam Groups as squads
Time: Jul. 30, 2018 From: SCDKey

Play with friends, it's my favorite way to play Monster Hunter: World Steam CD Key EU, and it is also a best way to play this game. But on consoles it can be difficult to connect with a friendly party. Fortunately, the Monster Hunter PC port seems to be using World Steam groups to automatically create teams in the game.

In Monster Hunter, the squads combine guilds or clans from other games. Basically, they are a way to connect with like-minded people. But on consoles, it can be difficult to join a team: you can not search by name and you need a personal invitation from the squad leader to enter.

Patrick Hancock of Destructoid plays Monster Hunter: the PC port of the world, and discovers that Monster Hunter: World is watching the Steam groups that you have on the PC and sees them as squads in the game, and carefully lists the ad hoc squads Normal created in the game in the console versions of the game.

All that sounds good, but unfortunately, there is no easy way to see who is online in the Steam menus in the game menus. Hancock discovered that he needed to navigate to the group list, click on "View Steam group information" and then navigate to the Steam Group page to get a list of online users.

Despite this, this is an interesting integration, and for my new knowledge, of the role of Steam groups in a game, and it could be useful to organize hunting events.
