AVerMedia's new capture cards are perfect for the Xbox One XTime: Jul. 3, 2018 From: SCDKey
AVerMedia is not the first company to launch 4K capture cards perfect for the Xbox One X, but they could be the best. The Live Gamer 4K and the Live Gamer Ultra are officially available now.
This is a big thing because, so far, none of the capture cards of competing consumers has allowed the capture of 4K HDR video. While the Live Gamer Ultra only supports HDR transfer, the LiveGamer 4K PCIe card in HDR will record a resolution of up to 4K at 60 FPS. If you are looking for high frame rates as a PC player, you can record up to 120 FPS at 1440p and 240 FPS at 1080p with Live Gamer 4K.
The Live Gamer Ultra, which is a USB 3.1 C-type capture card, is not as powerful, but still has its legs in other external options. You can record video in 4K at 30 FPS, 1440 at 60 FPS or 1080p at 120 FPS. It also allows HDR switching, something you will not find in other external capture cards.
These two cards work with several popular streaming programs, including XSplit and OBS, and with HDMI 2.0 on board, your Xbox One X 120Hz should also be fine. AVerMedia also has its own RECentral application, which is compatible with both.
