PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS IS THE FIRST STEAM GAME TO HIT 2 MILLION CONCURRENT USERSTime: Oct. 12, 2017 From: SCDKey
The massive success of Playerunknowns Battlegrounds Steam VPN Key has pushed the game to the top of Steam's current player listings, and now the game has broken the 2 million mark.
It's the first Steam game to do so, and sits atop its mighty throne looking down on other Steam heavyweights like Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and Team Fortress 2.
Two years ago, Dota 2 was the first game to break 1 million users on Steam, a milestone reached by PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds earlier this year.
Last week, PUBG was plagued with server issues to the point the development team issued an apology for the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds server issues on its official blog.
The huge numbers for a Steam game are attracting a lot of attention. PUBG is coming to consoles thanks to a partnership with Microsoft, and Fortnite from Epic games added a Battle Royale mode that's extremely similar to PUBG in ways beyond the battle royale mechanic.
One major difference is Fortnite is free to play, and on consoles, while PUBG is still an early access PC game. But when you take that into consideration, its huge player numbers are even more impressive.
